Our Story

Thirty years ago, the land  was purchased by Micklette's mother with the vision of establishing a thriving sod farm. What began as a hay field soon transformed under her care and dedication, becoming a successful farm.

After the passing of Micklette’s mother, ownership of the land passed to her and her two sisters. Together, they continued to manage and nurture the sod farm, honoring their mother’s legacy and maintaining the land’s productive nature.

As time moved on, the land’s purpose evolved once again. Micklette, now the sole owner of the land along with her husband, Brent, saw an opportunity to create something new, blending the history of the land with a vision for the future. The once thriving sod farm was reimagined into an event venue that retains the rustic charm of its agricultural roots.

Micklette and her husband dedicated nearly two years restoring the old barn on their land. This labor of love involved grinding down the floors and carefully replacing the barn wood, breathing new life into the structure while preserving its historical integrity.  The restored barn now serves as a beautiful and unique space where new memories will be made.   Drop us a note by Clicking here we would be happy to give you a tour.
